講義目的・到達目標
The purpose of this course is to help students improve their English vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading skills and achieve a higher score on the TOEIC test.

I Course Description
Students will develop advanced skills necessary for a high score on the TOEIC test. They will (1) review the English sound system and do exercises such as reproduction and shadowing to improve their listening skills; (2) learn various discourse patterns and do rapid-reading practices to improve their reading skills; and (3) answer a lot of questions during class to understand question patterns and learn how to organize their time effectively to solve questions for actual tests.

Preparation: reading the textbook, answering questions and doing exercises (15 hours)
Review: reviewing the textbook and preparing for review quizzes (15 hours)

Students occasionally work in pairs and groups.
成績評価の基準・方法
Students will be evaluated based on their TOEIC test scores (40%), contribution to class discussions, quizzes, and assignments (30%) and tests (30%).
課題・試験結果の開示方法
The resulting scores of quizzes are provided on Universal Passport.
履修上の注意・履修要件
Students are required to attend at least ten lessons to get credits. They are strongly recommended to join the first lesson to get more detailed information about the course. They need to prepare for the next lesson, do the required homework, and review the previous lesson.
