講義目的・到達目標

Lecture objective講義目的】
The goal of this seminar is to provide students with the opportunity to learn the basic research skills, such as reading academic literature, setting a research topic, obtaining and analyzing the data, summarizing the results, and present the results to the audience. Each student select a research topic and conduct research, although though I can help select a topic. The topics I have been interested in are: employee evaluation system, the estimation of the effects of supervisors, the determinants of female labor force participation, gender wage gap, and the determinants of natives’ attitudes towards immigrants. In addition, students are allowed to conduct a project, such as helping a volunteer organization, although students will need to summarize their experience in research style.

In the end, every student will produce a research output.
