This course provides guidance and support for students who pursue research towards completing a Master's degree. Through a focus on the research topics of individual students, students will be guided toward selecting research questions and research methods for their research project. Furthermore, students will obtain an overview of research ethics and be provided with an opportunity to refine their oral presentation techniques. Within one year, students are expected to complete a first draft of their Master's thesis and give a presentation in the interim report meeting.

Research design, research ethics, presentation skills

[講義内容]

Students will learn how to decide on a research topic, how to ask (a) relevant research question(s), and how to search for relevant research literature. Students will also be provided with the tools of selecting adequate research methods. Furthermore, students will learn how to structure a thesis and how to present their research results in an oral presentation. They will also be familiarised with research ethics and critical thinking skills.

【予習】修士論文のテーマについて研究を行い、発表を準備する（30h）。
【復習】修士論文の案の提出（30h）。

大学院生は研究について発表する機会があります。

【成績評価の基準】
研究倫理に関する基本的な概念を理解し、研究課題と研究方法を選択する方法を理解し、研究テーマについて発表し、修士論文の案を提出ことができる者については、講義目的・到達目標に
記載する能力（知識・技能、思考力、判断力、表現力等）の到達度に基づき、S（90点以上）, Ａ（80点以上）, B（70点以上）, C（60点以上）による成績評価のうえ、単位を付与する。
【成績評価の方法】
研究発表３０％、修士論文の案３０％、　第一回中間報告会の発表２０％、毎週の授業に積極的への参加２０％を基準として、受講態度（積極的な質問等）を含めて総合的に評価する。

担当教員は、コメントを付けて修士論文の案を返し、第一回中間報告会の発表向けの指導します。

授業への定期的な出席は必要です。
