講義目的・到達目標
This course aims to enhance students' ability to see the world through the eyes of economics by understanding and applying the basic concepts of microeconomics, addressing individual choice and social problems.

1) Understand rational choice and strategic interaction from the perspectives of both consumers and firms.
2) Understand the concepts and implications of market supply and demand, as well as the perfectly competitive market.
3) Comprehend the concept of market failure and analyze it by applying it to real-world examples.

This course provides an introduction to, and application of, the basic concepts of microeconomics. The course essentially follows the material in the main textbook.

成績評価の基準・方法
Grading Criteria: Students who can comprehend and apply basic concepts in microeconomics will be awarded credits based solely on their scores, with grades of S (90 points or higher), A (80 points or higher), B (70 points or higher), and C (60 points or higher).

Grading Methods: The evaluation will be based on a midterm exam (30%), a final exam (30%), and quizzes given in every lecture (40%).
