講義目的・到達目標
【Course Objective】
The first objective is to acquire basic knowledge of organizational theory. The second objective is to be able to use the acquired theory to analyze actual organizational phenomena.
【Goals】
To be able not only to acquire knowledge of organizational theory but also to analyze actual phenomena using the theory and to make the organization function based on the theory.

講義内容・授業計画
【Lecture Contents】
 In this lecture, we aim to gain basic knowledge about organization theory so that we can use and apply them to actual organizational activities. In the first half of the course, the students will learn about the basics of organizational theory, in the middle of the course, the students will learn about the structure and processes of organizations, and in the latter half, the students will learn and think about organizations in a changing environment. Through these sessions, the students can gain knowledge of the basic view of organizations, the mechanisms that drive organizations, and organizations that perceive and cope with a changing environment. In the middle of this course, the students are expected to do a presentation analyzing the phenomena of the organization by using theory.

【Preparation for lecutures】

The students are expected to review the class materials before the lecture and explore the related phenomena in the real world. (15h)

Presentation preparation (5h)

成績評価の基準・方法


【Grading Criteria】
Credit will be given to those who understand organization theory and can analyze phenomena by using the theory. Scores will be decided based on a comprehensive evaluation of performance as described in the lecture objectives and achievement goals.
【Grading Methods】
50% multiple reports and presentation
50% final report
課題・試験結果の開示方法
Feedback on the presentation and reports are provided during the class.  
Feedback on the final report is provided through the university system.

This is a core course designed for undergraduate students. No prior completion of coursework is mandatory, but to expect to have a basic knowledge of management,

Students are required to attend all the classes and abide by the university rules regarding attendance requirements.

Class materials are distributed through the university system. Before each session, students are expected to download them for class use.

実践的教育
In the classroom, faculty with practical experience may use experienced events to facilitate students' understanding of the theory.
