* Purpose of the Seminar
This seminar is designed to equip students with the foundational mathematical skills essential for success in university-level courses. By the end of the seminar, students will gain a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts and techniques, preparing them to confidently engage in more advanced mathematics encountered in their academic pursuits.

* Intended Outcomes
Upon completion of this seminar, students will be fully prepared to attend and actively participate in mathematics courses offered to GBC students. They will have developed the necessary problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and mathematical fluency to excel in these courses and gain a strong foundation for further mathematical exploration.

5. The system of rectangular coordinate, and vectors

7. Solutions of equations and inequalities

9. Quadratic functions and their graphs
10. Exponential functions and their inverses
11. Trigonometric functions
12. Differentiation 1

* Personal computers might be required.
* No restrictions are placed on the use of the generated.

In-class handouts and online resources.

Suggestion and/or delivery when necessary.

Students are required to prepare for and review each sessions for 4 hours.

In-class activities, such as solving mathematical problems, will be done.

In-class activities, as well as activities for preparation and review (e.g., homework) 50%
Final Exam 50%

Be aware that unexcused absence from more than five classes, unexcused absence on your debate da y, or failure to complete the final will result in an automatic failure of the class.

In-class activities are reviewed immediately.  Exams are reviewed via LMS (such as UNIPA and/or Google Classroom).

- This seminar is organized on the premise that you will take "Project Seminar II" conse cutively.

- All lectures will basically be provided on a “Face-to-face” basis. However, some lectures might be delivered online following the development of COVID-19. Thus, it may b e required to prepare the necessary equipment, like a PC, a tablet, and Wi-Fi connectio ns, to attend the lectures.

- The actual delivery will be determined and announced at the beginning of the course , and subsequently, as necessary.
