講義目的・到達目標

Course Objectives
From traditional culture to anime, Japan is famous around the world. In this class we will explore how Japan is viewed around the world and how it differs from how Japan views itself. Students will introduce Japan to the world through various formats improving their English proficiency.

Learning Outcome
Students should be able to give a present in a variety of formats in English and think critically about ideas and presenting Japan to the world.

Course Overview

Through the comparison of Japanese cultures and how its viewed students will improve English proficiency through content based learning, group discussions, activities, and presentations. This is a good course for GBC students looking to learn more about Japan and connect to their Japanese peers. Students will be introduced to a variety of expressions and vocabulary and improve English skills.
