【Course Objectives】
Familiarize yourself with the French language and learn the correct pronunciation, basic grammar, and expressions of the French language.

【Learning Outcome】
The goal is to acquire communication skills at the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECRL).

講義内容・授業計画
【Course Overview】
Students will study Lessons 1 through 12 of the textbook. Each lesson consists of Dialogue, Grammar and Expressions, Pronunciation Practice, etc.
In the Dialogue section, students first gain a general understanding of the language by answering the teacher's questions and the questions in the textbook without looking at the text. Next, students study grammar and expressions by solving problems.
Finally, students listen to the Dialogue again, listen to the details, and read the text together.
In the Grammar and Expressions section, students will work on their own to discover the grammatical content, and then work in pairs or in groups and communicate using the French language.
Pronunciation exercises are conducted each time to train the correct reading and pronunciation of the French language.
Each lesson will be followed by a set of exercises to consolidate the content of the course.

事前・事後学習(予習・復習)の内容・時間の目安
Preparation: Read the textbook to be given for the next lesson in advance, study the vocabulary, and memorize the relevant parts of the quiz (30 hours).
 Review: In order to deepen and consolidate the understanding of the class content, students will reread the textbook, Solving review questions (15 hours).

アクティブ・ラーニングの内容
Each time, we will practice oral communication in groups of two or three.
成績評価の基準・方法
The grade of S (90 points or more), A (80 points or more), B (70 points or more), and C (60 points or more) will be given based on the level of achievement of the abilities described in the lecture objectives.
課題・試験結果の開示方法
Assignments are checked (graded, evaluated, and commented) and returned to each student in the next class.
The results of the examinations will be sent back to the students in the next class and will be included in the teacher's comments section of the class evaluation questionnaire, along with comments on the examinations.

履修上の注意・履修要件
Since listening, speaking, and practicing in class are important, do not be absent or late.
Students will use the textbook from the first class, so please purchase the textbook before the first class.
Students who have taken French 1 must also take French 2.
