【予習】 Before each lecture, the students are required to read the corresponding chapter of the textbook and some academic paper related to each topic. (60min)
【復習】 After the class, the students should review the contents of the lecture and the academic papers introduced within the lecture. The students are also expected to conduct some econometric exercises if necessary. (60min)

There is a discussion among students.

【成績評価の基準】
Students should be able to discuss the issues in public policy using the basic tools of econometrics. The report should be completed with some empirical exercises. References are also required. The grade will be evaluated according to degree of the achievement.

Assignments: 30 percent 

Presentations 20 percent 

Final report: 50 percent
