[Aim of this class]
1. to deepen understanding of specialized knowledge in international business and management of MNEs
2. to enhance business analysis skills and to acquire academic methodological skills
3. to acquire presentation and discussion skills

1. to be able to read specialized books and academic papers in related fields
2. to be able to form and express their own opinions based on analysis
3. to improve presentation and discussion skills.

講義内容・授業計画

In this seminar, students are expected to read a specialized book and deliver presentations in turn. Students must also conduct case studies based on the theoretical tools they have learned.
Each student will study the assigned part of the book and deliver a presentation about the content. Other students should also read the materials in advance and contribute to discussions.
Students are required to submit a written report on the given topic. (Detailed instructions will be given in the first class.)

Reading materials will be assigned during the classes.

事前・事後学習（予習・復習）の内容・時間の目安

Students are required to read the assigned chapter of a book or case study materials. Preparation before class should take 1~2 hours per week.
Students must submit a final report. Studying time out of class is estimated to be around 30~40 hours.

アクティブ・ラーニングの内容

Students will have opportunities to participate in discussions and group work in almost every class.

成績評価の基準・方法

The academic performance of the students will be assessed based on 1) contribution to the class (i.e., remarks, discusstions, groupwork) (40%); 2) individual presentation on the assigned content (30%); 3) final report (30%)
