This course aims to enhance students' ability to see the world through the eyes of economics by understanding and applying the basic concepts of microeconomics, addressing individual choice, market interaction, and social problems.
1) Understand rational choice and strategic interaction from the perspectives of both consumers and firms. 2) Understand the concepts and implications of market supply and demand, as well as the perfectly competitive market. 3) Comprehend the concept of market failure and analyze it by applying it to real-world examples. 授業のサブタイトル・キーワード

This course provides an introduction to, and application of, the basic concepts of microeconomics. The course essentially follows the material in the main textbook.

During the lecture, students will engage in online quizzes and decision-making exercises related to the lecture topics using Google Forms. These activities are designed to reinforce key concepts and encourage active participation in the learning process.
成績評価の基準・方法
Grading Criteria: Students who can comprehend and apply basic concepts in microeconomics will be awarded credits based solely on their scores, with grades of S (90 points or higher), A (80 points or higher), B (70 points or higher), and C (60 points or higher).
Grading Methods: The evaluation will be determined by a midterm exam (30%), a final exam (30%), and online quizzes and decision-making exercises given in every lecture (40%). 課題・試験結果の開示方法
