講義目的・到達目標
This course aims to help students with little or no prior knowledge of Mandarin Chinese acquire basic language skills and develop foundational speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
By the end of the course, students are expected to:
  1. Master the pronunciation system and basic grammar,
  2. Be able to hold daily conversations in basic Chinese,
  3. Be able to read and write short sentences.
Through language learning, students will also gain an initial understanding of Chinese social and cultural phenomena.

成績評価の基準・方法
S ≥ 90,  A ≥ 80,  B ≥ 70,  C ≥ 60.

Grading:
1.    Class Performance: 15%
2.    Small test& homework:15%
3.    Mid-term exam:30%
4.    Final exam: 40%
課題・試験結果の開示方法
  • Small test & homework: Explanations will be provided in next week’s class.
  • Mid-term written test: Explanations will be provided in next week’s class.
  • Final written test: Model answers will be provided on Unipa.



履修上の注意・履修要件
  • You are required to attend all classes.
  • You must attend more than 3/4 of the total number of classes (including final exams). Even if you are absent due to unavoidable reasons, exceeding one quarter (25%) of absences will result in an automatic “F” grade.
    ※Absences due to legally designated infectious diseases or those approved by the University of Hyogo (UoH) will not be counted as absences.
  • The maximum number of students for this course is 25. If the number of applicants exceeds this limit, students will be selected through a random drawing.
