講義目的・到達目標
Politics and economics directly affect our daily lives. In an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world, no country can rely exclusively on its own resources to achieve economic prosperity. Moreover, a conflict or economic crisis could threaten global peace or directly affect our livelihoods and purchasing power.
International Political Economy (IPE) scholars argue that learners need to cross the boundary between economics and political science to apprehend the mechanism of the global economy. This course teaches students the global economy from the perspective of the IPE and aims to: 1- Teach students the International Political Economy, its theories and practice. 2- Deepen students' understanding of global migration and its social, political, and economic impacts on the global economy. 3- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between the global economy and contemporary conflicts from multiple perspectives. 4- Enhance students' analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills by studying ever-evolving political and economic challenges that face the international community. 授業のサブタイトル・キーワード
