講義目的・到達目標
The purpose of this lecture is to consider the current economic situation and connections between Asian countries from a historical point of view.
The aim is to be able to analyze the economic situation and different cultures in modern Asia from an international perspective. After this lecture, students should be able to acquire knowledge about the economic growth of Asian countries at each stage of history. Understand the economic links between Asian countries and European countries. Be able to recognize the different cultures of Asian countries. 授業のサブタイトル・キーワード

講義内容・授業計画
From the two main lines of space and time, interspersed with some special topics, such as an object to see the economic, social and cultural history of Asia. ①the spatial axis will be centred on ancient China, divided into seven geographical subdivisions, each detailing its economic and cultural links and trade routes with surrounding Asian countries. ②the timeline will be based on the main line of global history, starting from the sixteenth century to introduce how Asia was gradually integrated into the world system step by step. Specific content will relate to the spice trade, the consumer revolution and the development of the modern stock market and banking system. ③Special topics will be chosen to look at the Asian economy, culture and society from tea, ethnic business and China Town. 1.
