基礎的な並列計算のプログラミング技術を習得する。各種の並列計算（スレッド並列、プロセス並列、アクセラレータ）について、それぞれ具体的なプログラミング法を学習する。また、いくつかの高速計算のためのプログラミング技術についても解説する。

Grading Criteria and Methods
講義の節目節目で課す複数回のレポートにより，講義内容の理解度を評価し，S（90点以上），Ａ（80点以上），B（70点以上），C（60点以上）による成績評価のうえ、単位を付与する。
但し，神戸HPCサマースクールの卒業生で上記講義内容と同等の内容を受講したと認められる者については，別途レポート課題を課すのでその採点結果をもって成績評価する．

レポートについてはユニバーサルパスポートのクラスプロファイル機能を使って講評を返す。
