Course Objectives and Learning Outcome
【Course Objectives】
This seminar is designed to equip students with the foundational mathematical skills essential for success in university-level courses. By the end of the seminar, students will gain a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts and techniques, preparing them to confidently engage in more advanced mathematics encountered in their academic pursuits.


【Learning Outcome】
Upon completion of this seminar, students will be fully prepared to attend and actively participate in mathematics courses offered to GBC students. They will have developed the necessary problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and mathematical fluency to excel in these courses and gain a strong foundation for further mathematical exploration.

Students are required to prepare for and review each session for 4 hours.

In-class activities, as well as activities for preparation and review (e.g., homework) 50%

Be aware that unexcused absence from more than five classes, unexcused absence on your debate day, or failure to complete the final will result in an automatic failure of the class.

How to Disclose Assignments and Exam Results
In-class activities are reviewed immediately.  Exams are reviewed via LMS (such as UNIPA and/or Google Classroom).
Precautions and Requirements for Course Registration
This seminar is organized on the premise that you will take "Project Seminar II" consecutively. 
All lectures will basically be provided on a “Face-to-face” basis. However, some lectures might be delivered online following the development of COVID-19. Thus, it may be required to prepare the necessary equipment, like a PC, a tablet, and Wi-Fi connectio ns, to attend the lectures. 
The actual delivery will be determined and announced at the beginning of the course, and subsequently, as necessary.

The contents and order of the lectures may change depending on the progress of the course and the actual situations of the organizations/ companies.
In cases where any differences arise between the English version and the original Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail as the official authoritative version.
