この講義・演習の目的は、英語および英語の文体に関する理論と知識を身につけることである。
到達目標は、１）文学（的）テクストの特徴に関して、文体論の観点から説明できること、２）本講義のテーマについて英語で表現できること、である。

【講義内容】本講義では最初に文体論と英語教育の基礎を紹介、次いで、文体論を通じて英語学習について具体的事例を通して講述する。適宜ディスカッションを交える。

授業は講義形式で行う。受講者は、毎回講義終了後に「講義のまとめと質問」を提出する。

当授業は、（寺西研究室）から同時配信されるオンライン（遠隔）授業として実施します。
履修者は、自宅、研究室等から各自のPC等のデバイスを使用して受講してください。

Precautions for using Generative AI

生成ＡＩの利用にあたっては『本学の教育における生成ＡＩの取扱いについて（学生向け）』の記載内容について留意すること。
この授業においては、以下の範囲において、生成ＡＩの利用を許可し、これ以外の範囲での利用は禁止する。
・生成ＡＩの利用については担当教員の指示に従うこと。教員が認める範囲を超えて生成ＡＩを利用したことが判明した場合は、単位を認定しない、又は認定を取り消すことがある。
・生成ＡＩの出力した内容について、事実関係の確認や出典・参考文献を確認・追記することが重要である。また、生成ＡＩによる出力結果をそのまま課題・レポートとして提出してはならない。

グループ単位でのディスカッションおよびプレゼンを予定（各グループ1回は発表）。

Grading Criteria and Methods

成績評価の基準
英文テクストを正確に理解し、深く味わえるようになった者に単位を授与する。
講義目的・到達目標に記載する能力（知識・技能、思考力、判断力、表現力等）の到達度に基づき、S（90点以上）,Ａ（80点以上）,B（70点以上）,C（60点以上）による成績評価のうえ、単位を付与する。
授業内の積極的発言・質問等４０％、英語のレポート（300語程度）の得点６０％を基準として、総合的に評価する。

How to Disclose Assignments and Exam Results

レポートは、それぞれにコメントを付して返す。また、最終レポートについてはユニバーサルパスポートのクラスプロファイル機能を使って講評を返す。

Precautions and Requirements for Course Registration

授業中に指示した宿題や事前・事後学習はもとより、「講義内容・授業計画」に記載したテキスト等の該当箇所などについて、十分な予習・復習をして講義に出席すること。
