Course Objectives and Learning Outcome

【講義目的】社会の国際化に伴い、看護分野における英語力の必要性がさらに増している。医療等の現場において英語が非母語話者との意思疎通のために用いられるケースも想定される。以上を踏まえ、様々な看護・医療の場面で英語によるコミュニケーションが図れる力を養う。
【到達目標】１）基礎的な語彙・文法を活用しつつ、２）専門的な英語表現も用い、３）国内外の看護・医療活動で必要なコミュニケーションを英語で行えること。

【講義内容】指定の教科書に基づき、基礎的な語彙・文法と専門領域に関連する英語表現をおさえながら、様々な看護・医療の場で行われる会話を取り上げ、ペアワーク等で繰り返し練習を行う。各場面で文化の違いから生じる他者への配慮の必要性についても考察する。

【予習】「講義内容・授業計画」に基づき、次回分の教科書該当箇所を予習（30ｈ）。
【復習】当該回の授業内容の復習（15ｈ）、理解度確認テスト・意見表明に向けた準備（15ｈ）。

教科書の様々なアクティビティにペアまたはグループで取り組む。またその内容についてディスカッションを行う。

Grading Criteria and Methods

【成績評価の基準】医療の現場で英語による適切なコミュニケーションができると判断される者については、講義目的・到達目標に記載する能力（知識・技能、思考力、表現力等）の到達度に基づき、S（90点以上）、A（80点以上）、B（70点以上）、C（60点以上）による成績評価の上、単位を付与する。
【成績評価の方法】単語テスト30％・理解度確認テスト45％・意見表明など発言25%をベースとして総合的に評価する。
