基礎研究1,2、発展研究1の成果に基づき、論文調査・各種調査・ソフトウェア開発・実験・解析などを通じて研究開発を実際に行う。得られた成果に基づいて学術論文を公表し、最終的な学位論文を作成できることを目標とする。

年度当初に作成した研究指導計画書、および、前期終了時に作成した研究経過報告書を基に研究を行い、学位論文を作成する。その後学位論文発表会にて研究成果を報告する。
