The purpose of this lecture is to consider the current economic situation and connections between Asian countries from a historical point of view.
The aim is to be able to analyze the economic situation and different cultures in modern Asia from an international perspective. After this lecture, students should be able to acquire knowledge about the economic growth of Asian countries at each stage of history. Understand the economic links between Asian countries and European countries. Be able to recognize the different cultures of Asian countries.

Economic History, Business History

Read books on Asian business history, and explore the Harvard Business History Series for insights into business history. Students will be asked to present their work.
The Harvard Business History Series is the primary reading list. This series has been edited by Harvard Business School and published by Harvard University Press since 1931. Over the years, it has been overseen by six prominent editors. The focus of study is on the writings of these six editors and other scholarly works they were responsible for publishing, as well as the research conducted by European and American scholars on the economic history of Asia.
